Excuses, Excuses

What Happened to Laura Gunn. Well, I have not been kidnapped by terrorists. I'm not traveling the far reaches of the Earth. However, something even more surprising and miraculous has occured. After five years of dissappointment, 2 failed adoptions, and countless fertility proceedures, I am pregnant. We thank our Heavenly Father everyday for this, but in between the thanking I am puking and moaning and grumbling and not blogging. I have so much painting to do and a few ready to sell, but it will have to wait. I'm 11 weeks and will hopefully feel better soon. Talk with you all then.

Congradulations. This is so exciting. Believe me when I say I am sooo jealous of you. Hopefully that will make one puking episode not so bad.

Congratulations, I hope you are feeling better soon. Thank you for sharing that you have been trying for quite some time. I too have been trying for quite a few years now and am considering our next options (IVF etc), currently on Metformin. Your post gives me hope.

No way! I just got back onto my own blog and saw a post from a long lost friend - LAURA! Soooo cool to hear from you. Love your living room and cute new dishes and CONGRATULATIONS on being pregnant!

Darin and I have also been trying to have children to no avail so far and can totally imagine your elation! Too bad such a blessing comes hand in hand with throwup.

Yup - we're in the Chicago area. Only been here since July and so far love it. My sister was just in St. Louis and went to that botanical garden with Chihuly's glass all over it. She said it was absolutely wonderful.

Oh Laura, when I think of you I want to listen to ska and paint my house red or hot pink! Again, so good to hear from you.
